طريقة عمل كوكيز : المكوّنات كوبان وثلاث أرباع الكوب من الدقيق. ملعقة صغيرة من بيكربونات الصوديوم. نصف ملعقة صغيرة من البيكنج باودر. كوب من الزبدة الطرية. كوب ونصف من السكر الأبيض. بيضة. ملعقة صغيرة من خلاصة الفانيلا. طريقة التحضير جهّز الفرن بتشغيله على درجة حرارة مئة وتسعين مئوية. اخلط كلاً من: الدقيق وبيكربونات الصوديوم والبيكنج باودر في وعاء صغير، واترك الخليط جانباً. اخلط كلاً من: الزبدة والسكر معاً حتى يتشكل لديك خليط كريمي ناعم. أضف البيض والفانيلا إلى الخليط الكريمي، وأضف بعدها المكوّنات الجافة تدريجياً. خذ مقدار ملعقة صغيرة من عجينة الكوكيز وشكّلها إلى كرات صغيرة، وضعها على صينية خبز غير مدهونة. اخبز الكوكيز في الفرن المحمى مسبقاً مدة ثماني إلى عشر دقائق أو حتى تكتسب لوناً ذهبياً، واتركها في الصينية مدّة دقيقتين قبل نقلها إلى الرف الشبكي للتبريد.
